About AleraVision

We build sensor intelligence for the environments that can't fail.

Critical infrastructure, hospitals, manufacturing floors, schools, and transit hubs. The places where seconds matter and noise is the enemy.

ONE OPERATING PICTURE

Our story

Founded in operations rooms, not boardrooms.

Macro photograph of a precision sensor module

AleraVision started in a 24/7 operations center, where one of our founders watched a guard chase a deer for the third time in a single shift while a real intrusion happened two cameras over. The sensors were already there. The intelligence wasn't.

Every facility we walked into told a version of the same story. Hospitals with thousands of cameras and overwhelmed security. Plants with sensor estates older than their newest hires. Schools and venues fielding new threats with budgets sized for the last decade. The data existed. It just couldn't act.

So we built the layer that makes it act — verified events, in milliseconds, into the workflow operators already use. No rip and replace. No model lock-in. No surveillance overreach. Just the perception engine the modern facility was always supposed to have.

What we believe

Five principles. Every line of code, every deployment.

01

Verified beats reactive

Operators should respond to confirmed events, not raw signals. Triage is the platform's job.

02

Real-time beats scheduled

Compliance and safety are continuous. Quarterly reports are the lagging indicator of failure.

03

Outcomes beat features

We measure deployments by incidents prevented, hours saved, dollars retained — not modules shipped.

04

Privacy is a constraint

No facial recognition. No PII by default. On-prem and air-gapped options on day one.

05

Existing hardware is sacred

Your camera estate, BMS, access control — they all stay. We add intelligence, not invoices.

06

Operators are the user

If a tired night-shift lead can't act on it in three seconds, it's not a feature — it's noise.

The team

Engineers, operators, and analysts — built around the work.

Our team is a deliberate mix of computer-vision researchers, edge systems engineers, former SOC and EHS leads, and field operators who've actually run the rooms our software supports. That mix shows up in the product.
